Description
UV UTP is a unique UV-curable ink for pad printing. Built to meet new demands in the pad printing market, where performance of solvent-based ink no longer suffice, this system exhibits excellent hardness, abrasion and solvent resistance as well as good adhesion to ABS plastic and some other rigid plastics.
Applications
The UV UTP range can be used for marking in the following applications requiring superior abrasion and wear resistance:
-computer keyboards
-phone keypads
-calculator keys
-electronic devices
-souvenirs
However, in certain fields which do not permit the use of UV inks due to the possibility of uncured prepolymers being present, such as in some toy applications, the use of UV UTP is not recommended.

-excellent resistance to cleaning agents, petrol, alcohol, mild acids & alkalis, salt, oil,
grease and some solvents
The rheology of UV UTP are designed to provide excellent print definition, ideal for marking applications and are supplied press-ready. However, should the viscosity and/or gloss level require adjustment, extra additives are available to accomplish this. UV UTP inks are designed for indoor applications such as stated above and are therefore not recommended for outdoor exposure.
